Integrated Hypnotherapy, Counselling and Psychotherapy
What Conditions Can Integrated Therapy Help?
Whatever you think, feel and do is profoundly influenced by your own mind so it is not sensible, really, to put a limit on what psychological therapies can help you with. The real limiting factor is yourself and whether you really want to make changes.
This has nothing to do with, "will power", or, "pulling yourself together", but it is to do with gaining a better and deeper understanding of, "what makes you tick" and then working together to make changes for the better.
So, we had better really ask, "What people can therapy help?", and the simple answer would be, "Anyone who really wants to make changes for the better"; but to give you an idea of the sorts of problems often presented please look at my Home Page
This does not mean that I am necessarily the best therapist to help you and if it seems, at our initial meeting, or even later on, that I am not your best bet then I am ethically bound to refer you as best I can to someone or some agency more suitable. This would only ever be with your agreement. To help with this I offer an initial 30 minute consultation free of charge.
What Benefits can be Expected?
There can be no guarantees but you can reasonably expect, amongst other things -
* A better understanding of yourself.
* An improvement in personal stress levels.
* A reduction or elimination of unwanted feelings like anxiety, fear (phobias), anger, shyness, panic and so on.
* A reduction or elimination of unfortunate habits or addictions like smoking or overeating.
* Better control of chronic or recurring pain and/or healing(only after GP's advice)
* Improved relationships
... overall? A better future!
So why, "soldier on", for the rest of your life with something that is probably fixable? With your help I can help you to fix it.
